Mentoring Network

Mentoring Network“Start writing, no matter what. The water doesn’t flow until the faucet is turned on.” - Luis L’Amour

We run a creative writing mentoring network to help aspiring writers from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Each writer is paired up with an experienced author. Through mentor-mentee meetings over the course of six months, writers then have someone to help develop their skills and who can provide tailored 1-1 support. At the same time, the charity is on hand to help manage the process and provide additional support where needed.

The creative writing mentoring network provides a route for disadvantaged writers to not only develop their skills and boost other areas of personal development, but to find a route into publishing.

Applications for joining the network as both a mentor or a mentee are currently open. Please email: info@arkfound.org to receive further details.

Please note: due to the high number of applications and limited number of mentors, there is currently a significant waiting list to find prosepective mentees a match. It may take anywhere between a few weeks and a few months, so please be patient and rest assured we will contact you when we have found a suitable mentor!
